Elements that Make Life at The Bartlett Unique
As summer swings into full effect in the Bull City, things are taking shape at The Bartlett as well. This week, the construction fence is being installed around the site in preparation for demolition and site work later this month!
We are constantly being asked about the elements which will make life at The Bartlett unique, and so we have asked the people intimately involved with the project to list some of their favorite things. We received a myriad of responses from the contractor, interior designer, and listing agent. Here’s what they had to say:
"I love that the location gives you the best of both worlds...walkable to downtown's center, as well as the benefits of being on the border of Trinity Park and Duke's East Campus in more of a "neighborhood" setting."
"I think the scale is ideal...large enough for that urban feeling with lots of great neighbors, but small enough that you can get to know them all in a more "intimate" environment."
"I love the materials of the building...the combination of the brick that fits into the street level, "Durham" feel of Brightleaf Square, coupled with the steel, glass and concrete of a more modern and solid urban structure."
"I like the amenity space that is available for all residents, facing Main Street, engaged, but just slightly above the fray. The space boasts concrete floors, a dimensional tile backsplash at the kitchenette, and a locally-reclaimed wood built-in. The proposed folding door to a large balcony will be especially attractive."
"The finishes are unique. The residents can choose from unique plumbing finishes such as champagne gold and matte black. The base palette is industrial to an extent while the layered mix of lighting, textures and tones elevates the experience, making it a truly elegant living environment."
